1. Event Recap/highlight
Creating a comprehensive yet concise event recap or highlight video can serve countless purposes. Informing those who weren't able to make it to the event (or even those that were) about everything that went on, products you rolled out, and the value you provided can help to increase your brand's reach and encourage engagement. These can also be used as tools to increase attendance and/or gain sponsors at future events, and put on websites and social media platforms.

2. Testimonials
Testimonials are a quick and easy way to leverage social proof in order to gain leads and drive sales. Think of your target customer's pain points, and come up with 3-4 questions that would address these. Find a few current or past clients that love your offerings and ask them these questions on camera. This doesn't even need to be anything crazy - shoot it on a phone if you need to; what's important is showing potential buyers - through real-world experiences- that they can and will benefit from working with you.

3. B-roll
Capturing b-roll is a great idea if you're looking to multiply your investment and have content to use for some time going forward. You can use this to create content on your own, or hire an editor to create reels and other social media content that will serve your goals. Create a shot list ahead of time to make sure that you capture the most important parts of the event, and the ones that will be the most valuable in your content strategy.

4. Product/service demos
Informational content can help push potential buyers along in their journey, and doing a product or service demo out in the real world adds a feeling of authenticity. You can do this one of two ways - do the demo directly to the camera as though you're speaking to the viewer, or record a demo being presented to attendees; either is great.

5. Attendee interactions (photos & video)
Lots can be said about and done with attendee interactions. Seeing people interact with you at the event and learn about what you do can be used as valuable content in countless ways, whether standalone or as part of other types of content (numbers 1-4 can all benefit from this). Pro tip - capturing high-quality audio increases the production value of this exponentially. Another idea is taking photos, whether candid or staged, of leads and sending them out as a complimentary gift after the event - people love this!

There are a ton of ways you can leverage your event in order to capture and create content that will help you meet your goals. It's not inexpensive to attend an event, but if you spend a small amount of time beforehand planning to capture high-quality content that's tailored to you and your business/brand, you can easily get a greater return on your investment.
